Based on her own personal experience in rescuing orphaned children from Romania, Mrs. McGinty developed and ran a child placement agency in Houston. placed children from Romania and the Gulf Coast area with families throughout the United States and Martinique, an overseas region of France.

Venture capital partnership pursuing variety of start-ups, roll-ups and work-outs of small to medium-size businesses including Aerostaff Services, Inc. Secured a $1 million SBA Loan, handled corporate legal documents in coordination with outside counsel, directly involved with foreclosure and asset recovery through assumption of bad loans. Office operations and Human Resources responsibilities.
Assisted partners with philanthropic projects and prominent social and civic events.

Managed corporate paralegal activities for staff leasing company in seven states. that included over 270 Worker’s Compensation Claims in Texas, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Led fundraising and sponsorship activities for RE/MAX of Texas, a $70M statewide real estate brokerage firm. Wrote and implemented the RE/MAX Texas Children’s Miracle Network Program, raising over $1M year one. Developed and produced the first annual RE/MAX of Texas Children for Children Art Auction, benefiting Texas Children’s Hospital. These and other business development activities resulted in the opening of new offices, totaling over 5,000 agents, making Texas the #1 RE/MAX Region in the nation during her tenure.

Wrote and edited fourteen Houston Newcomer and Relocation Guides annually – growing the publications from eight existing guides.
